Cold is not how I would describe this one.

Book: Too Cold for Comfort by Nisha J. Tuli

Rating: 5/5

Escaping from her life in New York, her recently cancelled wedding, and her meddling family, Aadya Williams takes an assignment to photograph a remote polar bear experience and Inn in Northern Canada. I mean, 1,500 miles seems like enough distance to me.
Reid Doerksen, owner operator of the Northern Wilderness Polar Bear Lodge is a pretty good distraction as well. He's grumpy, he's walled off, he's overly controlled, and he's so pretty to look at.
The relationship between Aadya and Reid here grows and develops through their shared experiences in the frozen tundra. I love how they grow and change as they open up to each other. They're so good for each other.
This story is a delightful spiritual successor to Tulis Not Safe for Work. Where NSFW was all beaches and sunshine, Too Cold for Comfort is snow drifts and northern lights. NSFW was pina coladas and bathing suits and in TCfC is hot chocolate and fluffy socks.
