I love Christmas romances and I love fun spy stories but never thought I'd find a great read that combines the two. When I was offered an advance reader copy of the Takedown, I wasn't sure if I'd like it- spies and Christmas romance just don't seem like a good mix. I'm happy to admit I was wrong- The Takedown is fun read that I found hard to put down. It hits all the right marks for me- a tough heroine who loves her family fiercely, strong women who take care of themselves and each other, madcap capers that kept me invested, and a hero who has charm and chemistry. I loved every minute of this one and I will definitely read more by Carlie Walker!
