Yours for the Season is a cute Christmas read from Uzma Jalaluddin. Sameera is a lawyer who is trying to keep her job, pay off the debt her loser ex saddled her with and trying to repair her relationship with her family. At her company's holiday party, she meets Tom, a cute caterer who has family issues of his own. When both families assume they are dating (from a viral cooking video they made), they end up in Alaska at his family home. This book was such a fun read! It seems inspired by The Proposal, but isn't an adaptation at all. I loved how the families tried to understand the other's cultures and the fake dating trope was different. I love her books!
