This story is everything you'd want in a Christmas romance! It's sweet, charming, filled with festivity and a swoony romance that makes your heart melt. It definitely felt like Christmas, and I loved every minute of it!
Hunter and Charlie's story was so cute! Their banter, hidden feelings and the way their relationship unfolded had me completely hooked. Like any good Christmas story that brings all the feels, this wasn't just about the romance between two childhood friends, but also a story about forgiveness, found family and healing, and I loved how beautifully all of it came together!
The pacing was perfect, with a storyline that had plenty to keep me intrigued until the very end. Between the joy, laughter and a few heart-tugging moments that left me a little misty-eyed, this was exactly the kind of read I needed to get me in the spirit for my favourite time of year. There's just something about a heartwarming Christmas romance that makes you want to curl up with a blanket and a hot drink, and this one delivered!
I really enjoyed Christine Drummond's writing, from the vivid imagery that made me feel like I was right there experiencing a small-town Christmas, to the effortless banter that had me grinning like a fool. The romance was so lovely to watch unfold, and the whole story left me with that warm, fuzzy feeling that makes Christmas romances so special.
