Kaylee and Rhett were standouts to me in Book 1 so this made me soooo happy! I love how the relationship between Rhett and Kaylee develops from snarky barbs at one another into a true meaningful relationship. Never Meet Your Heroes vibes for the 3rd act emotional damage scenes. Rhett really is a stand-up guy, and I love that Kaylee has realized she loves him and can trust/rely on him. The scenes with the belt buckle are some of my favorites. But my most absolute fave scene, Kaylee meeting Rhett's family. So relatable. The ending scene at the Rodeo and Hellfire. Must say, I think I like this one even more than She's My Kind of Rain.
