Historical fiction is one of my favorite genres, and Braving the Dawn did not disappoint. Journeying alongside Sylvienne as she travels from France to New France, or Canada, and specifically Quebec as she faces trials, loss, grief, but also new beginnings, new life, and new love was a sweet, emotional, and sometimes funny trip. It was one I enjoyed very much which made putting the book down very difficult. This is definitely a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read which I highly recommend!
