This truly picks up right where it left off. You literally fall back into the immersion. I had to do a quick recap before I started this, but wow. I love the world that Kathryn has built in the Aetherborne Chronicles. Furthermore, I love the different POV of the FMCs. I love the tension. I love the heartbreak that is thrust upon me.
If you've read it, I assume you know the part I'm talk of; for those that haven't, you will not be prepared. My whole heart was ripped from my chest. I literally gasped, and scared my husband & son. Explained it to them, and then proceeded to stare at the page for like 5 minutes.
BbFF follows the grief, and fear & anxiety, and turmoil of our girls. What it means to forgive, and that things are not always what they seem. I need book 3 like...yesterday!
