So much happens in this story. Rarely a moment of peace for our MCs. We meet so many new characters and parts of the world. I’ve loved Taran since we met home but now he has some competition in Zal 💕
I can’t stand Vance. Hope he suffers long and painful. Aurelie is a b!+ch that I just cannot stand. And I feel for Diem. I do. But it took way too long for her to set her mother straight.
There is so much happening that it’s difficult to keep track of at times. But it’s all done well. The twists at the end?!? TWISTS! Oof
