Savannah Thomas' Sierra is a tough nut to crack but Sean Masters' Dom knows she's his endgame! The chemistry is on fire but Sierra has been burned too many times by people she trusted so Dom's going to have to work for it. I felt so bad for Sierra who has been let down so many times. Thomas really brought out the frustration Sierra felt at her situation whilst slowly letting her guard down with Dom. My favourite Dom moment was when he confronted Sierra about her keeping at arm's length; my heart broke a little as he gave her the space to come to him.

This one is definitely NSFW - keep those headphones handy! Dom may be only 19 but he is not backwards at coming forwards! He is obsessive but has definite golden retriever energy and he is always there for Sierra. I loved his relationship with Ella too - the sibling banter was spot on and I loved how she revelled in Sierra's attempt to downplay the whole thing. I'm looking forward to her book with Hunter!

As much as I enjoyed the banter, I wished we had seen more of the sorority subplot. It started off really strong and although it is resolved by the end of the book, I would have loved to have seen some on page justice. I don't think it's even confirmed who was involved nor who was texting Sierra. As Sierra is a sportswoman, I kept waiting for some of these threats to materialise with a physical injury or for some kind of sabotage but instead its more verbal sparring than anything else; there is a scuffle but it is fairly late on into the book. Not that it needed to be that dark, but they still knew Sierra was digging into things somehow and I kept waiting for that shoe to drop everytime she stepped on court.

The epilogue is super cute; as Ella's book is up next, I hope we get a couple of cameos!

A great listen if you love...
