I came into this book not knowing what to expect. Let's just say when The Walking Dead came out I was obsessed. This book was 1000 times the story. I loved the fights, the background, the characterization and growth. While I'm not normally a fan of the 3rd act breakup. This one was necessary. They communicated as adults and fixed things. The banter and sarcastic comments were God tier. Overall, I loved this book and I'm immediately starting the next because I was lucky enough to be chosen as an ARC reader.
“Let’s call this our second date,” I say. “Fun activity, shared experience. Like bowling. Only bloodier.” He huffs a laugh. “Okay, psycho.”
