Into the Redwoods was a beautiful, heartbreaking story.
I loved the worldbuilding, the differences between the Woodlanders and the Mechabicals’ lifestyles were so intriguing. And their constant, imminent war was just... devastating.
But amidst it all was a friendship more powerful than the Kingdom itself. Brooklyn and Evelyn were two sides of the same coin. Both sweet and kind in their own unique way, and they made their friendship work despite everything... until the very end.
And I loved it. I loved their story, their struggles, and their love.
I'm still sobbing over that ending... Thank you for breaking my heart.
