I loved this book. The story completely pulled me in; there were multiple moments that genuinely shocked me, and I was so invested in unraveling everything alongside June.

The magical realism was done beautifully. It felt immersive without being overwhelming, and it added such a unique, almost dreamlike layer to the story. And the romance? Perfect. Quiet, emotional, and exactly what this story needed. Eamon…yeah, I’m obsessed 😍

Everything came together in a really satisfying way, and I walked away feeling like the ending honored the journey.

The only reason this wasn’t a full 5 stars for me is honestly just how heavy it felt. This book made my chest ache pretty much the entire time. I know that was intentional—and it absolutely worked—but it made the reading experience a little emotionally exhausting for me.

Still, such a beautifully written, emotional story that I’d definitely recommend…just be prepared to feel everything.
