Book: Be My Vengeance by Davidson King

Be My Vengeance picks up in the aftermath of Be My Ruin, but with Alex and Danny as the main characters.
Fair warning, this one is a slow slow burn. Given Alex’s state at the end of book 2, I wasn’t sure how Davidson King could get him to a place where not only romance, but a shift in his sexuality was even on the table. The answer is time!
It was a bit of a shift since Gideon and Penn were definitely insta-lust, but the slow burn was absolutely needed and was the only way to be fair to Danny, as well as the strong friendship Danny and Alex had.
This series continues to be a fun read where the “good” bad guys win, with tons of mafia action and sweet moments.
