Thank you to Give Me Books PR and Lucy Lennox for the ARC — this review is my honest opinion.
Tropes: mm romance, enemies to lovers, bisexual awakening, roommates, college football, forced proximity, golden boy jock
BabyGirl is an enemies-to-lovers MM story. It features Bett and Vaughn. When they find themselves stuck sharing a dorm room, things begin on a rocky note. Vaughn gets inside Bett's head, and though Bett's not into it at first, he ends up liking it. Over time, it gets all steamy, and the hate turns into love.
THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE BOOK OF THE YEAR!
Lucy Lennox did an amazing job with this story. Bett and Vaughn have become one of my all-time favorite couples. I really enjoyed their chemistry and personalities. It was difficult to put this book down. The first chapter had me utterly hooked right away. The spice in this book is very hot! Bett and Vaughn's relationship ultimately becomes incredibly beautiful. I really liked how they supported each other in the end. This one's a total must-read!
