Book: Savage Little Queen: A Dark Bully Romance (Kings of Bolten) by K.G. Reuss

Book five was shorter than the others in the series so far and although there wasn't much plot momentum compared to previous books there were still a couple of bombshell moments and I liked Bianca and her guys being able to enjoy their bubble for a minute even if it was on borrowed time. I loved the scenes with everyone finally together and the full cast audio sparkles in these particularly; the chapters where Levin and Fallon are trading insults back and forth, where Vinnie is just being Vinnie in amongst all the angst or Cole's reactions to Bianca and the babies (seriously can we not swap out him and Fallon?) were so good to listen to.
How Fallon has been forgiven so easily though is beyond me; I thought Drake was being set up to replace him to be honest rather than a straight up addition. Vinnie continues to be the one who can do no wrong in my eyes and I adore him. Levin wins the prize for being an absolute idiot; IYKYK. Dom's apron and glasses made a reappearance which I always enjoy as he is so full on most of the time; he definitely seems to have changed for the better after all the heartbreak in book four. I'm a little sad Bianca has reverted back to Walker and hope that gets rectified soon.
Ugh to Celeste; she's still gross even if she's only there for a minute. I did feel a little smug at Everett getting knocked down a peg or two as I'm reading Chapel Crest in tandem. I'm looking forward to finding out who the woman is; I have a guess but I need to walk it back and see whose mum is potentially still in play! All the dads this time round are awful; I had been waiting for them to reappear and they definitely did that and then some. And Tate and Hail are conspicuously absent although after that ending, I think they may be about to pop up again...
My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read
