Wow, just amazing ❤️🔥
What a book! If Flameheart was an amazing beginning for this story, Ashfall was an epic sequel, more mature, more shocking, and so much darker 💀 I loved it! Though the story is still about young spiceless love, the world building grows bigger and the plot turns gloomier and grimmer. There are so many secrets and half-truths, betrayals and hidden agendas, it's really hard to know who to trust.
I've loved Aurelia since book 1, she's had a rough life, and she's still trying to overcome grief and anxiety, and that won't come easily. Even being closer to Kayce, and having friends and family with her, things are still too complicated. I really enjoyed the chivalry of their romance, they're so cute together! Their banter always makes me laugh.
And I cried so bad when things went wrong... So so wrong... I'm still mourning with them. I want to the read the third book so bad right now!
I absolutely recommend this story, The Flameheart Chronicles, and can't wait to know what happens next 👀
