I have never raged so hard at finishing a book and not being able to immediately pick up the second one, this read has been a level of intensity that I cannot even begin to describe! The writing of this story was phenomenal, I am naturally a fast reader but I forced myself to not speed through it, I did not want to miss a single bit of detail that was being presented to me. The curation of the characters and their relationships was absolutely breathtaking, and every time you think you’ve figured out the mystery and the lies that are woven throughout this whole novel, you get completely turned around! The big reveal at the end not only had me on the edge of my seat, but the cliffhanger had me screaming into my living room! This was a top tier, no, a GOD tier dark mafia romance that completely ruined me and I cannot wait for book 2 to come out!!! I NEED it to come out as soon as possible!!!
