I really enjoyed this one! It was a good mix of sports, romance and a little bit of drama. ⚽❤️
Both Nadia and Derek were likeable characters, and I enjoyed getting to know them throughout the story. We get to see more of Nadia's past and how it has shaped the way she approaches relationships. I loved watching her grow, work through some of those feelings and realise that she deserves to be loved.
Derek is definitely a favourite! He's like a grumpy cat with a lot of love to give. He reminds me of a filled cookie: hard on the outside but soft on the inside. 😂
Their relationship developed naturally, and I liked that it didn't feel rushed. The chemistry was there, and I enjoyed watching them navigate their feelings while being soccer coaches.
My only little downside was that there was more spice than I personally needed, so I did find myself skipping a few parts.
Overall, a fun romance with likeable characters, a natural relationship and a grumpy-sunshine dynamic I really enjoyed!
