Dear Allie Oleander,
I thought Shane was the epitome of a dirty, yearning boy and I couldn't possibly love his brother any more than I loved the OG Underwood brother. I was seriously, truly, and undeniably wrong.
I apologize for my underestimation of your ability to bring to me a brother even more full of yearning, the ability to make me howl at the moon, and some of the filthiest bedroom talk I have ever heard. Not only that, but I was unprepared for the game of one Caine Underwood and I am so thankful for that.
More than that, I am absolutely loved the complicated, wild, and intense story that weaved its way through the pages of Prey for Me.
Margot and Caine led the way through a story full of drama, secrets, and some of the most wildly creepy moments I've read in recent memory. There were many times that I found myself holding my breath because of the twists and turns that the story took or squealing due to the literary equivalent of jump scares. It all felt so fitting giving the love Margot and Caine feel for horror.
I loved every minute of this wild ride and getting to spend time with the utterly amazing team of Margot and Caine and I loved the vibe of this story from cover to cover.
I adored Willing Prey and the connection between Shane and Claire but this couple? These two stole my breath and my heart.
