For reasons she doesn't yet understand criminal defense attorney, Ember Thorne's, life is turned upside down on her 27th birthday. Nothing is as it seems and Ember needs to learn, train and trust QUICKLY.
I found Ember and Ash by Lisa Renee Jones to be interesting, I read it pretty quickly. But at times it seemed repetitive or contradictory. Overall I enjoyed the book and I am looking forward to seeing what happens in book 2.
