Me a non Baltimore native, who has frequented before looking up what a Natty Boh is.... the more you know I guess.
Anyway lol I really enjoyed! This really captured two people supposed to be enemies due to circumstance, but just can't seem to look away. I enjoyed the little back and forth between Darcy and Gabriel. Frank was also such a strong side character. I wish I got a little more on Nate though, rather than just plucky regular at the Bar.
I am SO curious about Gideon though... need more information and maybe even a whole book.
Story is character driven with fast pacing. Quick and easy read. Theres a great underlying message to look at things from a different perspective. View something seemingly dark and devastating as a a transition into a new dream, a new life, a new forever. That reapers are aids during a difficult transition.
