This is a novel for anyone that immediately adds a book to their TBR when someone says the book is f’d up. It’s for those who look at the micro tropes and trigger warnings, know exactly what they’re getting into, and dive in anyway. It’s for the brave souls who look at an eldritch horror and think, “I can fix him.”

This is my first book that held some tropes like soft vore, but if you’ve spent any significant time roaming the questionable corners of the internet, you’ll feel right at home. I was pleasantly surprised by the emotional depth Sparrow tucked between the pages. The book particularly nails the physical and psychological sensations of an eating disorder, and the FMC’s compulsive need to people-please was a trait I found myself deeply connecting with.
However, this book is a plant monster smut book where the FMC dreams of being eaten and an MMC that eats humans. The yearning between the two main characters adds delicious tension to the story. The spice is served hot, but please make sure you check the content warnings. If you don’t know what one of the warning words means… do a search in incognito mode.
