After her father's scandal was in the press, Grace is struggling to turn around the reputation of the lodge she's grown up with and recently became sole owner of. But with the reservations at a decline when compared to past years, she struggles to figure out how to turn around the reputation that Lovers Lodge may not have all that much love left in it.
Preston has been working his entire adult life to prepare to step into the role of CEO at his family's company. After breaking up with his short-term girlfriend, who is also the daughter of a board member, the board doesn't know how seriously they can and should take him because he's never really "settled down."
When a snowstorm forces Preston to crash on Grace's couch, a few drinks lead to the most natural course of action to benefit both of them: fake an engagement! While they've known each other for what seems like forever, Grace struggles to put her hatred toward Preston on the back burner to make their scheme work.
The more time they spend together, the more Grace realizes that her hatred may have been misdirection and Preston isn't anywhere near as bad as she previously thought. Honestly, she might actually LIKE him against all odds.
Say It's Forver had some of my absolute favorite tropes: enemies to lovers, forced proximity, fake dating/engagement and Jami seriously hit this one out of the park. I loved the dual POV and being able to witness the little glimpses of their internal struggles as their feelings developed into something stronger. If you're looking for a great small town business owner/billionaire romance, you absolutely should put Say It's Forever and the whole Lovers Lodge series on your TBR immediately!
