I absolutely loved The Truth-Teller’s Awakening!
This is the second and final book in The Oracle’s Duet, and it delivers an emotional, action-packed, and deeply satisfying conclusion to Thea and Nakir’s story.
Thea’s character growth was one of my favorite parts of this book. She has spent so much of her life fighting for freedom, but now she must decide what that freedom truly means and what kind of woman she wants to become. Watching her discover the full strength of her magic and begin making choices for herself was incredibly powerful.
Nakir’s love for Thea completely stole my heart. He is protective and fiercely devoted, but he never wants her power or her love to become another cage. The yearning, sacrifice, emotional vulnerability, and depth of his devotion made their relationship unforgettable.
The stakes are much higher in this installment. War is closing in, ancient magic is awakening, alliances are being tested, and every decision carries consequences. The combination of political intrigue, rebellion, found family, romance, and powerful magic kept me completely invested.
This story is ultimately about freedom, hope, sacrifice, and choosing the life you truly want. I loved seeing Thea and Nakir’s journey come together, and I could not have asked for a more emotional conclusion to their duet.
