I really enjoyed Stormvalor! Starr Z. Davies has done an excellent job building a rich fantasy world filled with political intrigue, dangerous competition, romance, and secrets.
The characters were amazing and each brought something different to the story. Bast especially intrigued me because there is clearly more to him than meets the eye. I cannot wait to discover everything he is hiding.
One of my favorite quotes was:
“If I am the sun, then you are my blue sky, the endless expanse that gives my light a place to shine.”
And that ending! It was one heck of a cliffhanger and left me needing the next book immediately. I highly recommend this to readers who enjoy epic fantasy, deadly tournaments, complicated characters, mysterious assassins, and romance.
