I always appreciate a book that picks up right where we left off on a cliffhanger. Snap did not simply meet my expectations; it obliterated them and rebuilt them into something more.
I connected with Sabrina and felt kinship with her in Scream, and experiencing her Snap was truly healing. Witnessing her face & demolish her demons felt like I was getting my revenge as well & it was beautiful.
The absolute strength exhibited by each character was something to behold:
"This is for my husband. I can do this." - Sabrina
"I will not go back to my wife broken." - Maks
"Our husband." - Parker, as he was determined to stand strong with Brina.
Watching them claw their way to the life they wanted was emotional and changed my brain chemistry.
Aside from the emotions, I heavily appreciated the moments that made me cackle. They were perfectly timed. Putting both our groups together is so entertaining. Pink Panther (IYKYK) LOL
Anyway, this duet is forever branded in my soul & I highly recommend jumping in from the beginning with Speak if you haven't already.
