Book: Two Twisted Crowns by Rachel Gillig

So, after finishing the first book, I dove straight into the second one and this time, Laced.up.narrative did not even have to push me to it.
I wanted to know what was going to happen, how everything would end. Once more, I was not disappointed.
While the first book was fully from Elspeth’s perspective, this one is divided between Ravyn, Elm and Elspeth/Nightmare’s perspective. I was a bit apprehensive that it would be too much or that I would get lost, but in the end it was fairly easy to follow every thread towards the end.
This book is a bit faster paced than the first one: the stakes are high, they don’t have long to gather the cards and heal the land. I did not feel it rushed, to me every loose end has been neatly tied.
The story ends on a happy ending, maybe bittersweet in a way.
I’m going to miss nightmare, and now I need to stop dawdling and get back to my arcs.
