I absolutely loved this book! And what a mess it was! This story is full of lies, secrets, and twisted truths. I really enjoyed reading about the worldbuilding, the magic system, and the mystery around the demigods. Their constant distaste for humans was evident, as was the patriarchal and hierarchical society on both sides. It was hard to read about the prejudice and injustice, but it was beautifully written nonetheless.
I loved the fact that the main characters were over 35 and that the FMC had a daughter! It was fascinating and their relationship was lovely, though a bit complicated because of Aurora's past.
I'm really looking forward to reading the next book because that ending was so mind-blowing! I need A LOT of answers!
