Oh. My. Goodness. It's not very often that a book takes me through so many emotions so quickly! From anger to swoon in a matter of pages! I won't give away who I was angry with but it is intense! The author does a great job of immersing you into the characters lives and world. I actually read this book in one sitting because I couldn't stop reading!
This book is a no-spicy, kisses only romance that deals with dark sides of the world. It is told in dual POV of the FMC and MMC. It is part of a series and part of a few interconnected series. It is not necessary to read the other series, or even books in this series, to understand what is happening but it will be more enjoyable if you read it with the series. The author has a few large plots that cross the whole series that are not solved in one book. It is engaging and makes me want to read more to find out what happens to the characters I grew to love.
