This is my first book by this author and it definitely won’t be my last! I enjoyed trying to figure out what was going to happen next only to have the author spin the story in a way I didn’t expect! It was so great!
This was a mash-up of Aladdin and Bluebeard and is told very well. The world building is easy to follow and very engaging. The story is told from the POV of the FMC, Alia. It’s a no-spice romance with lots of fun and witty banter. And an ending you won’t see coming!
