This is the first book by this author I have read. This book was hard to put down. Garrett is just trying to survive on the streets when Ghost comes to save him not once but twice. Now two years later he comes back and takes a bullet for Rett ommmmmgggggggg. Ghost is hilarious with his nickname Pipgeek but also on how he handles life. This book is worth the read. Can be read as a standalone you do meet some other characters from the first book but not need to read this. Differently going back and reading book one soon.
