This was an absolutely perfect spooky season read! A cutesy, cozy masked stalker romance with just enough of an edge to keep me on the edge of my seat. And the spice?? 1000/10. Super hot, super kinky, and I ate that shit UP. 😂
Mona was such a fun FMC. She has BIG black cat energy and has basically built an impenetrable wall around herself, but Casper just... walks right through it. 😂 She's struggling to get by, literally squatting at her place of work, and then you have this masked hockey player stalker quietly learning every single little thing about her and making sure she has all the creature comforts she needs, while also trying his hardest not to push her out of her comfort zone??? I loved that so much!
And Casper??? Golden retriever hockey player + masked stalker + “I will burn my entire career and possibly the world down if you ask me to” is apparently a combination I desperately needed. 😂 The way he watches her, learns her quirks, and just accepts all of them was ridiculously sweet underneath all the stalking.
And then there's Penelope. 🕷️ Mona's emotional support jumping spider daughter. Their babyyyy! Does Casper like spiders? Absolutely not. Does he accept Penelope as his child anyway and proceed to spoil her? ABSOLUTELYYY.💜
