The story follows Darius and Alvin through their summer at the place that made them and broke them… Camp Dix. I absolutely loved Alvin’s attitude and way of going through life, without a care in the world as to what others thought. It really showed how helpful this was with his campers when they needed it.
It was hard at times to see Darius struggle with his sexuality and that came out to hurt Alvin a lot. I just wanted to shake them both and say “STOP FIGHTING IT ALREADY”
the thing I wanted more of was them as an official couple. It would have been nice to see Darius with Alvin in the open and happy to be there.
that being said.. the epilogue was PERFECT.
