All the theories I had about the last chapter of Almost Ravaged went out of the window! I'm so conflicted on Tytus; I was 100% in his corner in book one but this was a rough ride. I'm convinced that the locker room was a serious mental break as his character has done a complete 180; Tytus held back on making his move with Sawyer as she was under the influence at the fireside (still hoping that note is kicking about for Sawyer to find) but for him to then to go down this route just seemed more than straight forward jealousy. Where was Atty for most of this too; how is he so clueless about what is going on with his best friend and sister when they are both being so off?
Noah continues to do no wrong; the evolution of bee daddy was an eye opener! Mercer has amazing vulnerable moments and I really warmed to him. I didn't like his actions but I did love how he was willing to fight for a future with Sawyer. Both books have felt like Noah & Mercer are a package deal with Tytus being separate and although I understand why Sawyer was feeling guilty and didn't want to admit to lines being blurred, the lack of communication just seemed to drive a bigger wedge between them all. I'm intrigued to see how this dynamic between the four of them can go forward after that ending as several characters have some serious work to do before any kind of HEA.
My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely until I finished it and it is one I will re-read
