🇬🇧 What happens when Elena Armas meets Twilight? You get Alma Vampires.
It's exactly what you would expect from Elena Armas. We get her usual romance style, this time in a story about vampires, mysteries and secrets.
It's a novel that ventures into fantasy, but without losing its romance identity.
At first, the fantasy elements stay a little in the background, but they develop more and more as the story progresses. You can tell this is Elena Armas's first time writing in this genre, and that the fantasy elements are still a little rough around the edges. But that's understandable, considering this is her first experience with fantasy.
Hadrian definitely passes the book boyfriend test. Even though I expected a little more chemistry between him and Valle, he is still a classic Elena Armas male lead. He's definitely not someone to complain about!
I have to admit, though, that by the end, I was mostly curious to find out more about the next couple.
The mystery is very interesting and makes you want to keep reading. The writing flows smoothly, so I never felt the need to try to figure out the mystery ahead of time. The story is an enjoyable read.
If you love Elena Armas, or if you're looking for a light fantasy romance with Twilight-like vibes and a romantic storyline without too many complications, this book might be just what you're looking for.

🇮🇹 Cosa succede quando Elena Armas incontra Twilight? Esce Alma Vampires.
È proprio quello che ci si aspetta da Elena Armas. Ritroviamo il suo solito stile romance, questa volta in una storia di vampiri, misteri e segreti.
È un romanzo che si avventura nel fantasy, ma senza perdere la sua identità romance.
All'inizio la componente fantasy rimane un po' sullo sfondo, ma si sviluppa sempre di più andando avanti con la lettura. Si sente che è la prima volta che Elena Armas si cimenta con questo genere e che la gestione degli elementi fantasy è ancora un po' acerba. Ma è anche comprensibile, considerando che è la sua prima esperienza in questo ambito.
Hadrian passa tranquillamente il test per essere un book boyfriend. Anche se mi aspettavo un po' più di chimica tra lui e Valle, rimane comunque un classico protagonista alla Armas. Non lo disdegniamo di certo e sono sicura che vi piacerà !
Devo però ammettere che, arrivata alla fine, ero soprattutto curiosa di scoprire qualcosa in più sulla prossima coppia.
La parte mystery è molto interessante e piacevole da leggere. Ti spinge a continuare la lettura. Non ho mai sentito il bisogno di provare a risolvere il mistero in anticipo, vista la scrittura scorrevole. La lettura procede in modo piacevole.
Se amate Elena Armas, se cercate una storia fantasy romance leggera, con atmosfere alla Twilight e una componente romantica senza troppe complicazioni, questo libro potrebbe fare al caso vostro.
