Whelp, just take my money. Devney Perry is an absolute master author, no matter the genre. I was so absolutely stoked to read a secret filled academia written by this legend and I was NOT disappointed.
The narration?? Top notch. All of the narrators absolutely nailed it. They worked well together and I LOVED that it was a cast narration. Their voices are absolutely delicious.
“That was a nerve-racking trio, but I would take the anxious knot in my stomach if it meant I no longer had to stand in the center of a hurricane.”
A hurricane is an accurate description of my emotions while I devoured this beauty. I was up, down, on the seat of my chair, leaning back in horror, drooling for the spice, crying from the emotions (NO spoilers), I was all over the damn place.
“Even if I wasn’t getting sick, I wouldn’t have been able to concentrate, not with Edwin and his slvtty little glasses.”
ALL three of the main males were absolutely breathtakingly multi-layered bits of heaven. The tangled webs that were drawn between the FMCs and MMCs and supporting characters?? Genius. So much transpired, so.many.damn.secrets.
I absolutely loved this. 6 stars. Will devour over and over again. I have no more words, I’m stunned.
