I thought the first book was amazing, but Cierra said “hold my pen”. This book was almost orgasmic in that it was somehow not enough but too much in all the best ways, and it still left me wanting more. Do it again, Cierra!
I loved following both Az and Ambrose on their journey while still following Kairo and the boys while they work to figure out the solution(s) needed for Az to stop what’s coming. STOP TORTURING DONAVAN, CIERRA! We really get to learn so much more about these characters and how they became this unbreakable found family that is loyal above all else to each other.
I yearned. I angsted. I raged. I laughed. I cried. I pondered. I raged some more. Feminine rage is chef’s kiss ! But seriously— Aiden has to go, and I REALLY hope he has no redemption arc coming.
I am so eager to get my hands on book 3 and see what Az and her merry band do next!
