The world of Realmweaver is what, as a child, dreamed of. A whimsical, fantasy world that was so different feom the norm. It takes you back to that mindset, and I loved that.
The world is unique, and as a prior science kid, I love the idea of a bioluminescent world. A world where everything glows? Sign me up!
For me, the pacing was fast in parts. The story progressed well, but there were resolutions that happened too quickly, or things I thought would be better to have been dragged out. Despite that, I kept getting drawn in. I am excited to see where L.K. Witt takes the next book.
I didn't feel particularly attached to any of the characters, at least in a way of relating to them. There were definitely characters I enjoyed though; Axel is one of them. And Malakai is a green flag MMC. We love to see that.
I recieved an ARC of this book. Thank you to L.K. Witt, and to Rattle the Stars PR for the opportunity to read and review this book!
