I was pleasantly surprised with this book. Fairytale retellings are always so much fun to read so I jumped at the chance to read this one.
I love the twist on this retelling. Having read several other Peter Pan retellings so finding one that isn't the same as the others is hard to do.
You would think Belle finding out she was a pixie would be the biggest surprise for her. Alas, it is not from learning about having to produce an heir for one of the Pan brothers to finding a way to save Neverhaven. She is in for constant challenges.
Rourke is such a refreshing take on hook. He was my favorite character in this book hands down.
Peter has a lot of the typical Peter theme. Again though I really like the slightly different take on him and his background.
Overall I really did enjoy this book and would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves a good retelling.
