This book is the debut novel for Mina Moss, and what a way to start!
I very much enjoyed this book. And I absolutely love Court. Even with him being obsessive and majorly protective, he was also a very loving and mild mannered MMC. He loved Whitney from the minute he first laid his eyes on her and never let up. But he also did not rush her into anything and was so patient with her. With Whitney I feel like there wasn't much Character growth with her throughout the story until the last little bit of the book. But that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy her as a character. Because I did. I was literally holding back tears when it came to certain parts of her story. The things she had done to herself due to the things that she experienced in her life broke my heart.
Court slowly breaking down Whitney's walls was one of my favorite things about their story. Helping her through her fight or flight instincts was incredible. And helping her to realize that it's ok to let others help you. The last 10 percent of the book was by far my favorite part of the whole book. You will just have to read Vicious Angel to understand why it's my favorite part.
