Book: Isle of Dragon Bones by M.A. Frick

A forbidden mystery sleeping beneath the sea’s depths, while every wave reaches for her with icy fingers trying to drag her memories back.
Kelpie’s body washes her up near the shore of a private island, and the fisherman who owns it- Ardene- saves her life, only to loath her very existence. They “bicker like cats and dogs, oil and water. He was an anchor dragging everything down, and I was a bird on the wind.” The building attraction is long and extensive, but really beautifully done, and although slowly paced, the detailed explanations that come with the long character development and storyline are necessary to enhance the deeper meaning behind the story. Despite finding the beginning to be a bit dragging, when the storyline picked up, I couldn’t put it down. Great story and runs adjacent to her other series “The Dragon’s Heart” trilogy which will further the understanding of this story.
I received this book as an ARC in exchange for my honest review that I give freely.
