Halfway Together was a fun and emotional fake-dating romance with small-town charm, found family, Dungeons & Dragons and plenty of spice.
Camille and Devan seem completely incompatible but I loved watching their pretend relationship slowly become something more. Devan was sweet, funny, respectful and wonderfully attentive, while Camille’s journey was about much more than romance. She had to realize that the impressive life she built was not necessarily the one that made her happy.
I especially enjoyed the D&D scenes, the West Tindale community and the thoughtful little moments that showed how well Devan truly understood Camille. Their relationship was spicy but it was also built on communication, emotional safety and genuine friendship.
A heartfelt story about redefining success, finding your people and choosing a life that finally fits.
