Real Faker was such a sweet, spicy, and emotional M/M fake-dating romance. Tyler, a country musician, is dealing with a painful divorce and the fallout from a viral video, while Mark is trying to prove he can build the future he wants. To help each other, they agree to fake a relationship, but their attraction is there from the beginning.
I loved Tyler and Mark together. Mark was so patient with Tyler while he explored his bisexuality, and Tyler gave Mark the support he needed when his family kept underestimating him. They were truly meant for each other, and it was lovely to watch their relationship grow from something planned into something real.
The story had family drama, public attention, career pressure, sweet moments, and a lot of spice. I also liked that both men had their own struggles and dreams outside of the relationship, because it made their journey together feel more meaningful.
The ending was adorable, especially the penguin proposal, which was one of my favorite moments in the book. After everything they went through, I was so happy to see Tyler and Mark get the happiness they deserved.
