Into the Darkness is a fantasy book about assassins, magic, dark and light. I do want to be up front and honest and say I was not a fan of all the spicy scenes. I typically choose books with no to low spice as a personal preference, so if you’re like me, this is likely not the book for you. However, I kept reading because of the story, which I really liked and thought was very good. And I loved how much Aza loved the ones who meant the most to her, such as her sister and her oldest and closest friends. It was a nice balance to her work as an assassin.
