A slow burn thriller that keeps a hold on you even after you’re done

Book: The Commune by Danny Dagan

Rating: 5/5

If you’re looking for some fast-paced story, The Commune isn’t what you’re looking for. If you’re looking for a slow burn build up of tension, this book would definitely be your cup of tea. I happen to like both types, so I really enjoyed this one. I like how it starts with present day but then goes back to 8 days before the climax of the story and gives the backstory leading up to the end. Who are the characters? What brought them to the commune? Why are they dying? And these characters are a strange group, so it wouldn’t be far-fetched to believe that any of them could be the killer. You’ll just have to read to find out, and I hope you’ll find it to be as unputdownable as I did. 5 out of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Highly recommend!
