Dr. Noah Lennox is a grump of a man when it comes to people, but he absolutely loves the animals that he cares for as a vet. While he's on his way to his hometown to celebrate his Grandpa's retirement, he stops for some snacks and comes across Eloise seemingly struggling to change a tire at the local gas station. And while their meeting was less than stellar due to very conflicting personalities, they leave with Noah having changed the tire and Eloise on her way to her "Jolly" activity of ornament making class.
When Noah realizes that his cousin Steven thinks he's a shoo-in to take over the family farm, Noah dives in with both feet to state his intention and interest in running the farm, too. A Christmas hater and general grump running the sleigh ride farm makes total sense, right? Enter Eloise! After being passed over by a big client, she's desperate to prove to herself and her parents that she has what it takes to get publicity clients to help kick off her new PR business. And what better way to prove she's right for the job than helping turn the town grump into Mr. Christmas?!
This opposites attract grumpy/sunshine story was a lot of fun and would be the perfect holiday read. I immersive read this one and the audiobook gets my stamp of approval, too! If you read and enjoyed Meghan Quinn's How My Neighbor Stole Christmas, there's a very high probability you'll like this one, too!
