ahem The story you are about to read has been told before. A lot. And now we are going to tell it again. But different!
All jokes aside, Dee Mannine has managed to create another masterpiece. Corvid Wrath is a prequel to Corvid Whispers. This series is one of my absolute favorites. I LOVE her writing. I love the characters, and the world. Furthermore, Iurthermore, I love everything about it. I never expected that when i requested an ARC for Corvid Whispers, that it would become something so dear to me.
In this story, you get the story of Seda & Kalon. But more than that, you see how deep the story truly runs. From the very beginning of Wrath, the pieces have been laid out and scattered through the words. Prequels are some of my favorites, getting to see characters before all the trauma. (And there's plenty of that.)
Kalon is also a deliciously dark MMC. When Dee was releasing snippets and teasers, I was foaming at the mouth like a rabid animal. Top tier shadow daddy. Let's all give a round of applause for his exceptional performance 👏.
I did recieve this as an ARC. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for allowing me to be an ARC reader for your series. It has been a great joy getting to see your writing progress, and getting to know these characters.
