Character Development: Lola is relatable (especially her coordination struggles), while the brothers, Enzo and Nic, offer a masterful study in deceit and hidden agendas. Even the pet octopus, Septavia, has a distinct personality!
World-Building: Highly imaginative. Features "soul light" theft, star-based magic, and the specific curse of the Thief (walking through walls at the cost of his voice/form).
