A Kingdom of Magic and Rain was such a cozy yet dramatic story! I loved it! Think of it as a telenovela with royals, ancient magic, and Fae. There were so many secrets, hidden identities, and tears... so many tears. I enjoyed reading about Princess Emelin and her struggles. She had a broken heart, elusive magic, and a kingdom to protect. Though she was naive and a bit childish at times, she was a lovable character with strong convictions and great ideas. I also loved her relationship with Adrian, how they met, and how they were drawn together throughout the story. He was a 1000% green flag! Did he make mistakes? Yes! But did he atone for them? Absolutely! Do we love him? Stars, YES! It was an interesting read, with plenty of dramatic scenes and a clear good-versus-evil dynamic.
If you're in the mood for a light, cozy read with a dramatic plot, a few twists, and lots of secrets, then you'll love this story!
