Oh, my heart! Poor Venra! To have gone through such a horrible tragedy as losing her family as a child is so sad, but then she found a family with the dragons. She had such a thirst for revenge, though which hurt my heart. This book is not a short one nor is it one for the faint of heart; however, it is worth every word, every eww, every aww, everything that makes you want to hold Venra if you weren’t afraid of her! One of the other Imperials did something bad towards the end just as Venra’s life was changing that has me looking forward to reading book 2.
